KaNu was born from a quiet vision — that true luxury should serve humanity.

I have spent years working as a paramedic in Estonia, witnessing both the fragility and the beauty of human life. Those moments taught me that dignity and compassion must never fade with age — they are what make life truly whole.

But the roots of this vision reach back much further. My mother worked in a care home, and after kindergarten I often spent my afternoons there. I remember the faces, the stories, and the quiet moments — how some residents were surrounded by warmth, while others waited silently for a gentle word or a touch. Those memories never left me.

Years later, I began crafting small batches of hemp-infused fruit wines from local apples and rhubarb — not as a business, but as a creative expression and a way to share something pure. Each bottle carried patience, honesty, and a reflection of northern calm. When sommeliers began to praise the results, a thought took hold:
what if something as refined as wine could build something deeply human — a place of care, respect, and peace?

That idea became KaNu — a promise to turn rare luxury into lasting kindness, one bottle at a time.
